DBTL
DBTL is a highly efficient tin-based gel catalyst that is widely used in rigid polyurethane (Rigid PU) systems, as well as in coating, adhesive and elastomer (CASE) applications. This catalyst, which has a chemical structure of Dibutyltin Dilaurate, optimizes the cure time by accelerating the polyol–isocyanate reaction.
DBTL catalyst provides control of the final stage gel reaction, especially in rigid foam systems. In this way, foams with more compact, smooth surfaces and closed cell structure are obtained. It also increases reaction stability in systems requiring high heat resistance and mechanical strength.
When used with amine catalysts, DBTL establishes a perfect balance between the creaming and curing phases. Being effective even at low dosage, it increases process efficiency while reducing production costs.
Dibutyltin Dilaurate (DBTL), supplied by Areks Kimya, offers high quality, strong reactivity control and superior surface quality in polyurethane systems with its high purity formulation, stable performance and long shelf life.
