FLAME LAMINATION SLF-522 is a highly efficient flame retardant additive component designed especially for rigid polyurethane (Rigid PU) systems and lamination lines. This product, developed in accordance with modern production technologies, improves the non-flammability of polyurethane foams and improves surface integrity in lamination processes. It is used forprotection purposes.
Thanks to the special phosphorus and chlorine components in its formulation, SLF-522 has a radical scavenger effect in the gas phase and promotes carbonization in the solid phase during combustion. This double-effect mechanism prevents the spread of flame and ensures the formation of a protective carbon layer on the surface. The result is higher heat resistance, lower smoke generation and increased safety performance.
SLF-522 is perfectly compatible with rigid foam formulations used in lamination lines; It maintains production fluidity by minimally affecting the viscosity of the mixture. In addition, it provides a smooth lamination layer on the foam surface, excellent adhesion and high dimensional stability.
