Flammability TCPP
TCPP is an effective phosphorus and chlorine based flame retardant that is widely used in polyurethane systems. This additive, chemically in the form of Tris(2-Chloropropyl) Phosphate, is used in both rigid and flexible polyurethane foams to increase fire resistance and meet fire safety standards.
TCPP is an additive in liquid form that can be easily mixed into the polyurethane system. It promotes carbonization during combustion, has a radical scavenger effect in the gas phase, and thus slows down the spread of flame. Thanks to these features, it is especially preferred in areas such as insulation foams, spray systems, furniture, mattresses, automotive sponges and coating applications.
Thanks to its high thermal stability and chemical stability, it is easily processed in production processes and does not adversely affect the foam structure or viscosity. In addition, TCPP is an economical and effective alternative that can be used instead of HBCD or brominated derivatives in environmentally sensitive systems.
TCPP flame retardantoffered by Areks Kimya is a powerful solution that increases fire resistance in polyurethane systems with its high purity level, reliable performance and wide application compatibility.
