Tin Catalyst T-9

Tin Catalyst T-9 is a highly efficient organotin (tin-based) catalyst that is widely used in flexible polyurethane (Flexible Slabstock) foam production. This catalyst, generally known as stannous octoate, provides a controlled foam formation by accelerating the reaction between polyol and isocyanate in polyurethane systems.

Although T-9 has high reactivity, it offers a balanced creaming and curing time. In this way, it becomes easier to achieve the desired cell structure in both continuous casting (slabstock) and molding systems. The pore structure of the foam becomes more homogeneous, reducing the risk of collapse or unbalanced expansion.
